When do we need to RSVP by?

The deadline to RSVP is the 20th of July 2025. Anyone who has not responded by this date will be marked as not coming. So please make sure you RSVP as soon as possible. We will not be chasing or sending reminders, so put a note in your calendar! please note; the only way to rsvp is via this website on our page marked RSVP

Can my children come?

We love your children, lots! But on this occasion, we are not inviting any children under the age of 16.

Do I have a plus one?

Only those named on your invitations are invited to the wedding. Please do not bring any extra guests. If you’re unsure, drop us an email and we will confirm for you.

is there anything we can do to help?

OH! Most definitely! If you’re free and willing, we’d love for you to help us with the set up and/or the pack down. IF you are available, send us an email with days and times you are free on: begoutlaye@gmail.com

What shall I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is Garden Party Chic. You will find more information about the dress code on The Big Day™ page, but to sum up the vibe: Garden party attire is whimsical, dressy, and designed to be worn outdoors. It typically falls somewhere between a semi-formal dress code and cocktail attire, with breezy silhouettes and pastel colors that take inspiration from the surrounding blooms. Please refrain from wearing trainers and jeans - it’s time to get dressy!

What about shoes?

What can we get you as a wedding gift?

Quite honestly, your presence is enough of a gift for us. However, if you would really like to get us something, we have a honeymoon fund that you can add to here.

Are you getting married at the mairie?

yes, We will be doing the legal bit before the main wedding day, and just with immediate family. on our actual wedding day, which you will share with us, we will be having a more personal and intimate ceremony in the woodland of our wedding venue.

Can we use our phones during the wedding?

We kindly ask that during the ceremony you do not use your mobile phones to film or take photos. We will be recording it ourselves and will have a photographer. Once the ceremony is over, however, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you please! Just don’t forget to send them to us afterwards :)

What will we be eating?

we have created a wedding menu with international influences that reflects our love of food and travel. there will be food from asian, african, french, caribbean and middle eastern cultures. If you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements, make sure you let us know about them when you RSVP and by Email!
